Terms of Service
Last updated: July 17, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of Table Snap, a tabletop role-playing game assistant operated by Alchemy Studios LLC for session notes, world memory, player arcs, Discord voice recording, and exports. By creating an account, installing or using the Table Snap Discord bot, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service operator
Table Snap is operated by Alchemy Studios LLC. In these Terms, “Table Snap,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Alchemy Studios LLC and the Table Snap service.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate account and billing information and may only use Table Snap if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the campaign, world, character, lore, session, transcript, note, and export content you add to Table Snap. You grant Table Snap the limited rights needed to host, process, transform, display, back up, and export that content so the service can work for you and your table.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Table Snap to break the law, violate someone else's rights, upload malicious code, interfere with the service, scrape or reverse engineer private areas, or submit content you do not have the right to use. We may suspend access to protect users, infrastructure, or legal obligations.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans and any top-ups are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record and payment processor. Prices, billing cycles, taxes, and checkout details are shown before purchase. You may cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation stops future renewal and your paid access remains available through the current billing period unless otherwise stated by Paddle's buyer terms or applicable law.
6. AI-assisted output
Table Snap uses automated and AI-assisted processing to draft notes, summarize sessions, identify story material, and organize world memory. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before relying on it, publishing it to players, or using it outside the service.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, improve, limit, or discontinue features over time. We work to keep Table Snap useful and available, but the service is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for every use case.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Table Snap is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
9. Discord bot and voice recording
The Table Snap Discord bot may join a voice channel at an authorized GM's request, record a mixed audio track, and collect speaker-activity metadata so Table Snap can create and organize a diarized session transcript. The bot must not be used for covert surveillance or to record conversations unrelated to an authorized tabletop session.
Before recording, the GM or other person starting the recording is responsible for clearly notifying everyone in the voice channel, obtaining any consent required by applicable law or server rules, and stopping the recording if a participant does not consent. You represent that you have permission to install the bot in the Discord server and to submit the resulting session content to Table Snap.
Discord is a third-party service with its own terms and policies. Server administrators may remove the bot, and authorized users may revoke their Discord connection. Bot availability may depend on Discord's APIs, permissions, and service availability.
